When I have a bit of time on my hands....

...I rummage in my alteration drawer and find something to play with.  I saw something similar to these on Etsy but they were much plainer and they were selling for $25.  The light bulb went off - I have some of those polystyrene balls lurking at the back of the drawer, a couple of hours later this 'evolved'

and then this morning another followed along...

Some time to play again at last...

now the bathroom is finished I managed to get round to some new cards...

Purim.....

... Mya had a Purim party at nursery and as always at Purim the kids went in fancy dress.  Mya went as a cat and a very cute cat at that....

no crafting but...

We have had the builders in for a fortnight and it has put paid to me crafting, but I have a couple of photos of the girls to share.....

A Papermania Embossing Folder

my first Papermania embossing folder has arrived and I have to say I am very impressed (excuse the pun).  It has to give the best definition of all the brands I have used so I ran it off in different colours and 'decoupaged' the design.  I am really pleased with the result and will be looking out for more Papermania folders.

you can almost taste the cupcake.

A Special Order

from a family member for a 60th birthday card for their twin sister, and so after a couple of hours work I ended up with this...

the front of the card

then the full inside

 

and the 'stood' card.

I add lots of sister and twin quotes to the inside and adapted a sister verse to cater for a twin.

I hope both of the twins like it.

Been so busy

organising myself I have forgotten to blog - apologies - I am trying to get myself organised before I go into hospital and am planning lots of crafty things I can do for the 12 weeks I am on crutches, but here are some of the things I have been 'creating' lately.
