Twins looking for a home......

twins of the doll kind that is. Mya's baby brother or sister will arrive bearing gifts for big sister. As we don't know if it will be a brother or sister I decided to get her twin Berenguer dolls and here they are ready to go to their new mummy.
We have named them with the runner up names for the new baby and here they are all swaddled up and tagged ready for their new mummy. Why do I get the feeling Lilli is going to be a good girl for her mummy and Max is going to be a little terror.

A card for a friend

Decided to make a card for a friend's birthday next month. Thought it was time to get down to some serious playing.

A Special Wedding Card

A dear friend of mine asked me to make a special card for her grandson's wedding. I hope she likes it.

Cupcake Delight

Look what arrived on my craft desk yesteday, a selection of ribbons from Crafty Ribbons new Cupcake range. A big thank you to Ali for sending them to me and all I had to do in return was to design 2 cards for her.

Well here is the first one, featuring my beloved Tilda. Sorry the picture is a tad blurry (I never pretended to be a good photographer).

and the second one feature my Hero Arts cupcake stamps which I coloured and glazed.

I've emailed Ali the photos and she thinks they are wicked so I am relieved. They are now in the post en route to her. Then becuase you know I never leave anything unaltered, I turned my attention to the box the ribbons came in and here it is in it's glamourised state. Only problem is what do I keep in it. As I've used some of Ali's chocolate range ribbons and a House Mouse stamp featuring chocolate I think the box should contain chocolate - my secret crafting stash I think. Oh the little bronze handle on the front of the drawer is from Tim Holtz.

Serious Crafting

I decided that I would do some 'serious crafting' this afternoon but the postman had brought me the chipboad masks I'd bought and I couldn't resist having a play with one. A coat of gesso followed by a coat of gold paint made a good base. Some KanBan metallic cord around the edge, a generous sprinkling of crystals, some ribbons and feathers and voila - one mardi gras mask. I haven't a clue what I am going to do with it but I do have a passion for masks and couldn't resist a play. I will try to be 'serious' next time.
