Christmas comes early

I had another Crafty Ribbons challenge to complete last week using their new range of Christmas ribbons.  Here is what I made.

A Christmas Bauble using lots of glitter.

A Snowflake card, again using lots of glitter on the medallion stamped image.

and

A Poinsettia card again colouring a medallion image and cutting a poinsettia from the gorgeouse ribbon.

Rosh Hashana

I was beginning to think I'd never get my cards made in time and although they are quite simple in style they were very fiddly to make - all those little links to open and close to hang the sign correctly etc etc.  So here is one of the batches....

and a closer view of one of the cards...

now all I need to do is write them all and get them in the post tomorrow, just in time!!!

Been absent without Leave

can't believe I haven't posted to my blog for so long - oops!!!!  Mojo seems to have deserted me but I have been doing odds and ends.  Still summer is nearly over and I'll get back to some serious crafting real soon.  For now though these are the cards I made for Crafty Ribbons new range.

A trio of Twins.

I wanted to use the same elements and make 3 completely different cards.

Leaving home time....

well the puppies are 8 weeks old now and it's time for them to start leaving home.  My niece is taking her one this week and I know my sister in law is going to be devastated to see them go.  Here are a few photos we took yesterday when we went for a visit.

they climb all over each other

and there always seems to be one missing - 1,  2,  3,  4,  5  - where's #6???

again only five, will have to track down the sixth one

oh here he is, snuck away for a little bit of peace and quiet I think.

WOYWW - BOXES GALORE

as my mojo seems to have gone on it's summer break not a lot has been happening here.  My desk is however loaded this week with matchbox boxes.  These are some that have been made by the ladies in the craft group I run and are waiting to be photographed.  They make quite a stunning group.

All I have been up to is to print off a lot of digi stamps and stamp up some of my favourites and colour them in with my promarkers.  I'm slowly working my way through them all then cutting them out and glittering as needed.  At the end I will have a large box full of images ready to use when I want to make a quick card.

I hope that looking at some of your work will inspire my mojo again and I can get back to crafting.

Oh just forgot, I havent been entirely idle - big thank you to Jo (Twiglet) for the African Flower pattern, I have made 27 of them and my blanket is beginning to take shape.  Perfect to crochet while watching the tennis.

Have a good week ladies.

Wow it's WOYWW again...

and the week's certainly seem to whizz round.  I've had a busy craft week and have managed to get a lot accomplished.  Firstly on my desk are two cards for July birthdays.  The Gorjuss girl one is drying and the one with a lot of glitter on is for a glitter loving friend who will be 90 and is just waiting for me to make a glittery number 90 to go on it.  There are also a couple of dragon's which I am colouring with my ProMarkers for a 5th birthday card.  To the left is the matchbox box I was working on last week....

and here is a better photo of the completed box..

the postman brought me lovely goodies this week and I seriously do not need to buy any more glitter, I had more than enough before I purchased these but I do love the Martha Stewart range and as for the Beadazzles - well I adore them and could never have too much.

I have managed to complete the candle box and tray that is for a Chanukah pressie.  I have to say this is not my style or taste but it is very much the style of the person it is for.

I asked last week what I could do with all the matches from the boxes I've been making and it was suggested making them into backgrounds - sort of parquet floor style - so I had a play and managed after an hour or so to come up with thie tile - I now only need to make around another 11 to cover a card :o)

will I be making the other 11??? - doubtful it was very fiddly.

I've added to the box of charity cards and it now numbers the magical 100 and made two cards each for my older son and his wife as both their birthdays are on the same day next month.

I haven't moved or organised a single thing in my craft room this week - oops not quite true, I did have to bring in a mini chest of drawers for all my glitters.

If you are wondering what all this WOYWW is about why not pop over to the fab Julia Dunnit's blog (click on the WOYWW tag on the left hand side of my blog) to see what all the fun is about and then have a nosey round loads of fab blogs and see what they are up to this week.

That's all for now my crafty blog friends - will be bloghopping later and visiting you.

Have a good week.
