First and foremost I owe you all an apology this week. Last Wednesday afternoon I posted my WOYWW thread and settled down for a couple of hours bloghopping to see all of yours, I managed 7 when the phone rang and it was my younger son in complete panic as his wife had been rushed back into hospital again. Well the rest of the week has passed in a blur and although she is back home again she still needs someone with her 24/7 so m-i-l has been filling in quite a bit. This week I will try to do better and have a quiet evening bloghopping planned for tonight. Ok back to my desk. I have just started colouring in some butterflies which then have to be glittered similarly to those in an early post. I'll then turn them into a card using the yellow and orange ribbons for my Crafty Ribbons projects. On the right are some stamps that I received from a friend for my birthday last weekend. I am itching to use them but must get a couple of other tasks completed first.
My laptop has been running a little sluggishly lately so I finally remembered to backup all my photos etc and then decided to make cd covers for them - I will get a box to alter and use to store them when I get a moment to dash to the shops. The pile of cds under the covers are previous backups that I need to sort through and organise.
I haven't managed any crafting this week with the exception of making these little buttons. You know by now that I am trying to make all my own embellishments and I made these but punching out 1 image in card and 4 images in paper then gluing the 5 layers together. The holes in the centre were made using my cropodile. I've yet to use them on a project but will pop these on to my example tray (more of that another week).
Finally I had to show you this - isn't it drop dead gorgeous. My dear friend Ann made it for my birthday - she said I can use it to store things in - ehm NO!!!!! I will be using it throughout the summer whenever I go out - I want the world to see it, I love it!!!!!!

Oh no - poor DIL - hope she's on the mend by now - you needn't worry about not being able to get round all the desk - its not compulsary - and your family's health has to come first and foremost.
